The Ultimate Sound Machine

Bushtec Performance Sport Trailers is pleased to be working with world-class bike builder, Paul Yaffee, to create the ultimate sound machine.  Using a Bushtec Entourage trailer as a match to his custom bike, Paul has joined forces with audio industry leaders, Rockford Fosgate, to create the world’s most powerful, motorcycle stereo.  Custom inserts were combined with Rockford Fosgate’s state-of-the- art woofers, tweeters and amps to make a “one-off” custom trailer that has its own power source and is guaranteed to make an instant impression wherever it goes.

  1. I really like this project. I am doing something very similar with my Quantum Sport. I have most of the design worked out except I am being challenged with the power source. I don’t want to draw any power from the bike. Yet I don’t want 200lbs worth of batteries in there either. Is it possible to know what battery system you used for this project and the expected duration on a single charge?

  2. Thanks for the comment Mike… I’ll ask Andrew or Kirk about the power source, I’m not that familiar with the project to that detail.

  3. Hi Mike,

I spoke with Paul Yaffe throughout the build and my understanding is that the system can be powered from the bike battery, the battery onboard the trailer or even 110 from the wall. The units are not inexpensive to build (as you can imagine) and the estimate to do a single unit came in around $7,500 for just the sound system (trailer not included). I have the name of the outfit that did the install for Rockford Fosgate. As you can see, they do outstanding work and I’m sure they’d be happy to build one for you, if you would be interested. Thanks for you interest. Kirk

  4. That is just nonsense that it is around 7500 that must include man hours as I built one with RF and I came in around 1200 bucks and I have more than one sub a 12 player cd changer tweets mids etc. They must be counting man hours and their man hours must be 100 a hour.

Mine looks nicer than that as well.
